Abstract: The main objective of the present research is the characterisation of the unsteady internal fluid dynamics occurring in solid rocket motors (SRM). In particular, the attention is focused on the evaluation and the analysis of pressure waves oscillation (PWO) available in such type of motors and the manner through which such waves modify the amplitude and the frequency as the motor characteristic dimensions vary.
